The Brighton Natural Wine Fair is making its much-anticipated return to the city next month. After a sell-out debut in April, this exciting event will take place on September 7 at Wagner Hall, Regency Road, Brighton.
The fair promises to be a delightful day out, featuring a variety of food, beer, and cider stalls, along with craft tables and engaging workshops. Winemakers will be on hand to educate attendees about natural wines, offering a selection of exquisite samples for guests to try.
“Our goal is to demystify natural wine and provide a welcoming space for everyone to learn, taste, and ask questions,” says a spokesman for the fair. “As Brighton’s first and only natural wine fair, we’re here to celebrate and spotlight passionate winemakers dedicated to sustainable and low-intervention practices. This event is a unique chance to meet winemakers and explore exceptional wines that embody mindful farming and a deep connection to the land.”
The inaugural event in April was a roaring success, attracting nearly 300 guests. This time around, organisers are upping the ante with even more winemakers and a broader selection of wines. The aim is to create an inclusive environment where everyone can enjoy themselves, regardless of their wine expertise.
Among the food companies set to attend are The Traditional Cheese Company, Oysters from Riddle and Finns, and Curio Wines. Workshops will feature the Wild Wine School and Sassy Sommelier with Zest Wine Club, ensuring there’s something for everyone.
A bar will be set up, complete with music to keep the atmosphere lively. Tickets are priced just over £19 and include five tasting tokens, access to all workshops, and a branded tasting glass to take home. Entry times are staggered between 12pm and 3pm or 3pm and 6pm, and the event is open to those aged 18 and over.
