Brighton Brokerage Triumphs at Prestigious Awards

Hooray Health & Protection, a Brighton-based brokerage, dazzled at the UK Health & Protection Awards 2024, clinching four prestigious accolades, including the coveted Advice Firm of the Year. The awards were presented by comedian Kevin Bridges at a glittering ceremony held at the London Hilton Park Lane, marking a momentous occasion for the local firm.

Founder and director Charlie Cousins expressed his delight, stating, “It came as a big shock. We were up against some of the biggest names in the industry, with much bigger teams than ours, but once again we’ve managed to punch above our weight.” This remarkable achievement underscores the firm’s dedication to helping SMEs and start-ups secure essential employee benefits like health and life insurance.

Charlie highlighted a growing trend, noting, “Staff are increasingly demanding more support from their employers when it comes to physical, mental and financial health. It’s a really big issue right now.” Hooray Health & Protection is committed to finding affordable deals that provide meaningful support, ensuring policies work as intended.

Nestled in Stroudley Road, Brighton, the firm shares its vibrant office space with its sister company, Engage Health Group. Engage Health Group also celebrated success, winning the Best Group International Advice Firm for the second consecutive year. Ian Abbott, International Director, remarked on the increasing demand for equal benefits for global employees, “More companies are hiring abroad, either due to local talent embracing remote work abroad or because businesses are expanding their talent search or operations internationally.”

This double triumph highlights Brighton’s burgeoning influence in the brokerage industry, showcasing the city’s talent and innovation on a national stage. Congratulations to both firms for their outstanding achievements!
